Beatrice Zdorovyak M.S., CCC-SLP
Founder and Director
Beatrice is a bilingual speech-language pathologist with a passion for working with children of all abilities. Known as “Miss Bee”, she is a well-rounded clinician who treats a variety of speech, language, feeding, and orofacial myofunctional disorders. She is currently working toward earning her credential as a qualified orofacial myologist (QOM).
Beatrice’s journey into speech therapy began at a young age. While shadowing professionals, she witnessed the transformative impact of intervention for children with special needs, inspiring her to pursue a career dedicated to fostering meaningful communication. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communicative Disorders from the University of Rhode Island and Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from Yeshiva University.
During her master’s studies, Beatrice became a Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) and worked as a Level 2 Behavior Therapist, gaining valuable experience supporting children with autism and other developmental challenges. She is licensed to practice in Connecticut and New Jersey and values her ability to connect with diverse families by offering services in both English and Russian.
As a lifelong learner, Beatrice continuously enhances her expertise through continuing education courses to ensure she provides the highest quality care. She is passionate about empowering families and helping children achieve their full potential through compassionate, evidence-based therapy tailored to their unique needs.

Tactile-Proprioceptive Teaching Approach
Beatrice utilizes a tactile-proprioceptive teaching approach to enhance her patients' speech clarity and develop the oral motor skills needed for feeding. She integrates oral-sensory input to make exercises more effective and engaging, helping patients improve coordination and control of their oral muscles.
Applied Behavior Analysis
Beatrice incorporates her experience and knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in therapy to address and decrease challenging behaviors. She runs social groups for children, encouraging interaction in natural settings while modeling language for pragmatic functions. Through these groups, Beatrice helps children build communication skills, improve social engagement, and navigate real-life social situations in a supportive environment.
